Cubane acts as a bioisostere for the benzene ring, offering a unique 3D volume that can enhance solubility and alter metabolic pathways.
Cubane also has one of the highest energy densities of any hydrocarbon. We anticipate that it can be incorporated into high-performance fuels where fuel tank space is limited.
